Chapco – Retains Quality Assurance Awards and Partner Status

The Chapco Group has recently achieved two further recognitions of the quality of service it delivers on a daily basis. These awards demonstrate our commitment to our clients to constantly improve the service we offer, and recognises the quality framework, processes and fail-safe’s we employ across our businesses.

Tipton based, Chapco IT (trading as Century Computing) has successfully retained its ISO Quality Standards accreditation and in the process met the more stringent requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standards. Any organisation achieving ISO accreditation automatically demonstrates to both its clients and suppliers alike, that it has robust process management systems focused on service delivery, and the continued maintenance of quality standards.

We are also pleased to announce that we have been awarded partner status for "Double-Take" software. Double-Take is an industry leading, two-in-one, High Availability and Disaster Recovery failover server protection package. Using real-time data replication, it replicates from a "source" server to a remote "target" server. Should the source server fail, recovery by the target server is automatic and downtime reduced to seconds or minutes, with minimal data loss. Double-Take has been awarded WINDOWS GOLD status for Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/2008.

Chapco Maintenance is also delighted at having recently been awarded the Safecontractor® mark after meeting the schemes stringent enrolment requirements.

Membership of the scheme provides clients with the reassurance that Chapco’s Health & Safety procedures and safe working methods are suitable for the services we provide, and have been independently audited against current legislative requirements.

Any client allowing external contractors or service providers to work on their premises must ensure they are operating using safe methods of work. Historically this would mean that clients were required to assess every contractors health & safety arrangements each time they were employed on site. Accreditation to the scheme now removes this process, as long as the schemes compliance and audit requirements are maintained. Many large organisations are now using the schemes database as their primary method of accessing and selecting service providers.

Richard Chapman, MD of the Chapco Group said " We are delighted to become part of the Safecontractor scheme and retain our ISO accreditation at Chapco IT. The Chapco Group has always sought to provide an exceptional level of service, and our clients are now guaranteed that the quality framework and health & safety arrangements we have in place have been independently checked against the rigorous scheme entry and legislative requirements or international standards".
